A new way of teaching and learning
We have been very busy since our return to school after the Christmas holiday. Some of us have been back in school, working in our own class and others have been learning from home, accessing remote learning lessons via the app ‘Teams’. Have a look at the wonderful things we have produced, using our class book ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ as inspiration.
We wore Christmas jumpers for Christmas dinner in class this year. We listened to Christmas music and had a lovely warm Christmas fire visual on the screen to make it really cosy.
As part of our ARTS week we focused on Bonfire Night. We listened to fireworks and watched firework displays. We explored colourful materials, lights and the computer.
We have enjoyed Harvest this year in a different way, and it has let us experience the sounds and vibrations of the music, but also the different tastes and texture of a range of fruits and vegetables.
We have been using our senses to experience sounds. We have been listening and feeling a tapping beat.
