In November we have been looking at all aspects of personal care and wellbeing, as well as developing our baking and cookery skills. We also enjoyed a visit from the fire department and learned all about fire safety. We also celebrated and raised money for Children in Need and we have been developing our knowledge and understanding of money. At the end of November we had great fun making props, preparing and performing our ‘Going on a bear hunt’ assembly. We have also started our visits in the community starting with Sunnybank Garden Centre. So we have had a very busy month!
In October we continued our topic of ‘All about me! By painting self-portraits, and learning about what it takes to be a team player and taking turns, with activities such as bowling and throw and catch. We also began to look at what we would like in our school garden and the seasonal changes that take place in autumn; as part of this we began to decorate bottles for our ‘eco’ greenhouse. We’ve also been learning lots about life skills, baking and personal care; as well as time and sequencing. So we have had a busy month!
